Admissions

Policy:

As a private school, GNCS reserves the right of setting its own standards for student conduct, tuition, dress code, admissions, etc. We have the right to refuse admittance to anyone and to suspend or expel anyone who violates the standards or rules of conduct. Each student’s application will be reviewed by the admissions office and upon approval will complete placement testing. Placement testing along with previous school transcripts will determine the curriculum assigned to the student.

Procedure:

    • 1. Applications must be filled out completely and returned to the admissions office. Applications/student information must be updated yearly. It is the parent's responsibility to inform the school of any changes.

    • 2. An interview with the parents will be completed to establish the mission of GNCS and the responsibilities of the of the parent/student.

    • 3. All applications are presented to the Admissions office for approval.

    • 4. Placement testing time/date will be scheduled to allow adequate time for curriculum ordering. After testing, the staff will meet with the parents to determine a course of action to fill in any learning gaps, meet special needs of the student and plan future academic goals.
